Oliver Holland is the nom de plume of a hot and bothered boy. By hot and bothered I mean I’m in a long-term (20 years), monogamous (99.97%) relationship, and by boy, I mean I’m a 40 year-old man with a career and a kid.

I realize that this information may come as a shock, and that by not pretending to be a 20-something college student with a rotating cast of sexually voracious partners I’ll probably turn some of you off. I understand and that’s ok, after all, if we can’t fully indulge in each other’s sexual fantasies because reality intrudes, then what’s the point, right? Sexual fantasy (with the occasional rant) is what this blog is about, but I think that the power of fantasy is amplified and it’s value increases when you know where it comes from. Also, it simply seemed like too much damned work to write and make art while trying to maintain a persona so different from who I really am, so yes, I can be lazy sometimes.

For me this blog is a way to explore my erotic/creative impulses and express my sexuality outside the context of my relationship and the cultural expectations that I have to manage in my day-to-day life. One of my oldest and dearest friends once told me “There are two kinds of people in the world: fancy, and dirty rotten whores.” This blog is the place where I take off my fancy costume and reveal myself as the dirty, rotten whore that I am.

I hope that my stories and art get you hot and bothered, whether that’s wet, hard, or that special blush on your tentacles. Let me know if I’ve been successful, or alternatively, I’m always open to constructive criticism.
